Wilfrido and Maryselis Santiago and their two children, Will and Mariely, are excited to start their journey with Habitat to build and buy their own home.
"“We do not have enough space, there is much humidity which affects our child who is asthmatic and neighboring smoke enters the house, we are sleeping with our daughter in the same room.”
We are the family Santiago. About 4 years ago we came from Puerto Rico, looking for a better future, filled with dreams, faith and hope. We always had the hope and faith of having a home and to be economically stable, since our life wasn’t easy. As a family we attend the United Methodist Church in Green Bay, Wisconsin and it was through an activity to the community that we acquired knowledge about the Habitat for Humanity and as a family we decided to apply, with hope and faith to be eligible. Thanks to God and Habitat for Humanity we have the opportunity to accomplish our most desired dream of obtaining a home where our children can be comfortable. We are very grateful with habitat for Humanity for their help. God bless you always and may always multiply you so that you can continue blessing other families.

Sincerely,
The Santiago Family

In Support of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
