A Message From Julie Coppersmith

In 2017, Habitat for Humanity will be building their 100th home in Green Bay. These homes are provided to qualified families who to would not be able to obtain a traditional mortgage. They are a hand up, not a hand out. The families put in over 500 hours of sweat equity and pay a mortgage. The costs are kept down by volunteers. This year, I am proud to be participating in the Women's Build week. I have been blessed to have met some of these families and witnessed the changes it has made not only to their living conditions but also to dynamic of the family unit. Please consider donating to my Go Fund Me page as it makes such a tremendous difference in our own community. God bless.

In Support of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
