Prior to being accepted, the Gazella family was living in a small apartment that didn't have enough space for them. The family desired a home of their own so they no longer have to deal with the lack of space. There were also some other concerns with the rental, such as mold, drafty windows, leaking furnace and poor ventilation to name a few.

This is what led the Gazella family to apply for Habitat’s Homeownership Program. The family looks forward to having the space and sense of security a Habitat home will bring. Their dream of home ownership will finally become a reality.

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
