Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Faith Builds bring local churches together to raise roofs, walls, funds and prayers to build a house in partnership with a family in your community.
Our 2019 Faith Build house will be purchased from us by Karleen Hernandez.

Here is her story:
"My name is Karleen J Hernandez Marrero. I’m 30 years old born in November 1988 in Puerto Rico. Where I lived my first 19 years of life. I’m the youngest of 6, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. In 2009 moved to Florida, looking for new adventures. After 3 years living in Florida decide to move to Green Bay on 2012. I’m a mother of 3 beautiful children’s Nayleen 6 years old, special with Autism and the twins Angel and Minelys 4 years old. I moved to Green Bay for a better future, specially that now I have them in my life and I can be closer to my family, sisters and mother. Thanks to God every day for a new day and to bless me with 3 awesome kids. I’m currently an accounting student so I can be a professional and provide for them. I actually work in a Printing Company in the Mailroom Department. In my free time I love to have fun with the family, my sisters and my mother and value all the precious time with my kids."

In Support of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
