Women Build is an annual fundraising campaign directed toward lifting women-led households in our community while empowering anyone who wants to learn how to build a home.

When we come together for the greater good of the community, we have the power to challenge the status quo. While affordable homeownership is a hot topic in our community, there are many ways that we can collaborate, educate, and take action to find sustainable solutions to advocate the Habitat for Humanity vision; a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Bringing a team of passionate people together, we can take the opportunity to shed light on the burdens and challenges that women-led households face in Brown County when it comes to finding a decent place to live. And, for any experience level, there is something for everyone to learn on a Habitat build site.

Whether you're looking for a team-building opportunity, or simply wanting to give back to the community in an impactful and meaningful way, a Women Build group is the perfect fit.

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
