Christiansen/Brown Family Home

About This Campaign

My name is Sara Christiansen and I am a single mom to three beautiful girls. My oldest daughter, Madison is 20 and lives on her own. I have two younger daughters, Maleah (7), and Miya (4). I work fulltime and once the house is built will be going back to school part time to pursue my bachelor’s degree in accounting. I have always wanted to provide my children with a home that was truly ours. We’ve lived in our fair share of apartments and while no matter where we are together it is home. I’ve always wanted to give my girls more. Supporting them on one income has always been a struggle but I’ve done it. Being able to let them play in a yard and ride their bikes would be a dream come true to them. I’ve worked hard to get where I am. Being able to provide them with a home is so important to me. It means that I will be able to provide them with a home that we can make our own, a place to make memories and build traditions, a place that we can be proud of because we helped build it. I want to give them what I was fortunate enough to have growing up, a house to call home.

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity

Campaign to Support Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
