The Leonardo da Vinci School will host its fourth annual Pi Day 5K run/walk on Saturday, March 10 2018. This project is being organized by fifth graders who in the past three years have raised over $44,000 for Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. This year their goal is to raise $18,000!

Volunteers are needed-all ages-to cheer on the runners/walkers and also to staff the water station. When you arrive at the school, sign in with Allison in the gym and she will give you your location. Dress for the weather-it was cold last year!

In Support of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
